Did you make your prayer jar?

Today I started my, Hope Jar. I’ve always wanted to make one and keep in my prayer room.

Now I get to cut little strips of paper so they can be ready for all the grateful things God is doing in my life. Eeekk! I’m so excited.

One word for the hope we’re clinging to this week?

In this Advent season, we pause to remember that God still breaks into ordinary moments with His light. Even the places that feel uncertain, quiet, or dim are not beyond His reach. Hope doesn’t come from our circumstances shifting—it comes from the God who stands steady in the middle of them.

As we wait for Christ’s coming, we lift our eyes toward the Light that never fades, the Light that guides us gently forward, one trusting step at a time.

Some seasons ask us to slow down so God can speed

Some seasons ask us to slow down so God can speed up the work He’s doing within us.
We don’t have to rush holiness. We don’t have to force growth.

We simply walk with Him — faithfully, steadily, one surrendered step at a time.

And as we do, something shifts…
The pressure lifts.
The striving quiets.
The journey becomes peaceful again.

Here’s to choosing His pace over our pace,
His strength over our strength,
and His will over our hurry.

One small yes at a time — that’s where real transformation begins.
